World Cup Final tickets - SOLD - Admins please delete : Mon Oct 14, 2013 3:44 pm  

Hi all,

I'm a Huddersfield Town and Giants fan, and when I bought my tickets last November I had no idea whether Town would be home or away on the same day as the final. As it turns out we're at home on November 30th, so I'll be going to watching Town v Burnley instead. My mate from Leeds who was going to buy the tickets off me can't make it now, so I need someone else to take them off my hands.

The reason I'm choosing Town v Burnley over the WC Final is because I get paid to go to Town home matches, and football has always been top of the list ahead of rugby league.

The seats are located in:

Block WU204
Row 3
# 210-211

Face value is £70.00 for the pair, will send by recorded delivery for free.

Certainly am, Town mean a hell of a lot more to me than the Giants, same goes for football v rugby league. That and I get paid to go to Town home games.

This isn't a Giants game though... it's the World Cup Final. Farcical that you even applied for RLWC tickets if a 2nd division soccer side may be playing at home a year later. And why do you "get paid to go to Town home games" anyway? If I were you I'd give the tickets away.

I bought two tickets because I had every intention of going if Town were away, but it didn't work out like that. I bought them so early because I wanted to take advantage of the £5 early bird discount which ran until some time in December. Once I knew that Town were going to be at home I offered my ticket to the lad who I planned on going with, who said he knew someone who wanted it. His mate can't go now which puts them both out of the running. Totally unforeseen circumstances.

I get paid to go to our home games because I input everything that happens during the match onto a PDA which is then relayed to online bookies for inplay betting.

Why should I give my tickets away for free? Because I knew there was a 50/50 chance of Town not being at home? Not sure I understand the logic. I have every right to try and recoup the money I paid for the tickets and I have every intention of doing so.

Best post this on all forums then and offer the £10 off you got for the early bird discount so why not ask £60, chuck in free p&p then you may get a bite. Good luck with the sale.
