Leeds Rhinos have sent out a LETTER to RLWC fans who attended games at Headingly with a promotion code offering a discounted ticket for the seasons opener at the stadium. Leeds v Warrington attracted 15k last year, but rather than sit back, knowing that they will get a good crowd in 2014, the marketing department at Headingly have opted to strike whilst the iron is hot and the memory is fresh.

Given Knock-down Nigel and the FL were proudly boasting about 40%+ southerners at RLWC and given we got 67k + at Wembley AND now that we know that the Landlord has been given a MARKETING BUDGET by the RFL (BRIBE REALLY IS A TERRIBLE WORD)when can we expect a mail-shot to the 27,000 Londoners who attended the semi-final double header offering them a discounted ticket for the Hive?

I agree. If Leeds can get this data we should get it and use it asap. They have shown that they have an interest in RL and though we may not get all of them to come even a 1,000 would be great. Better than dropping mail through thousands of letter boxes of people who have a small % of people who have a small interest or knowledge of RL

Most of us do. Its just that we have realised its time to put the clubs historical mistakes of the past behind us and move on to deal with the situation on hand now. This is the club making a new mistake which they need to sort out now.

It's not a new mistake! There was the double header at Wembley 2 years ago and nothing happened! Which club is responsible for the mistake anyway, Broncos - can't be as the marketing is apparently down to the Hive. All bonkers
