Looking at this list. it looks like Solomona has just arrived in time. hope Vea is not long behind him. Does anyone think that TR might think of dipping his toes back in the loan market.

The Broncos picked up a number of injuries at Bradford which has meant several changes to the squad. Full-back Nesiasi Mataitonga and three-quarter James Duckworth both suffered hamstring injuries and are likely to be out for up to six weeks.

Prop James Greenwood has a knee problem and looks to be side-lined for a fortnight while Will Lovell could be out for up to 10 weeks after snapping ankle ligaments in training.

James Woodburn-Hall is still suffering from a dead leg but could be back within the next week or so while Joel Wicks looks to be out for a month with a hamstring injury

In theory any player who is not a teenager and not in the first team needs to be loaned out, else he will not play at all, so there is a buoyant market.

However the problem is that a lot of clubs lend their proven quality reserves to their near neighbours, such as Paul Clough, Anthony Mullally and Liam Sutcliffe whilst we get the outer squad members in the main.

In an ideal world we'd get Ben Jones-Bishop and I would not turn down Kevin Penny that is for sure.

I agree about BJB, he would be a great edition to the squad, and on the plus side he enjoyed playing down here before (didn't he met his gf down here).

also with Wakey now taking Riley from Wire it would look more then likely BJB staying at Leeds for now. but there was a rumour linking his name with us (but as a rumour I expect the person just got the wrong team). As we now have Solomona the FB spot if filled (which is BJB preferred position), so I couldn't see him coming this way unless TR was to play Solomona in the centres and Leeds willing to lend his another player (even if just for a month )

Hello Alan, I have no doubt that Tony Rea would find a place for BJB. He is a wonderful player. Here is hoping Mac will do us a favour. Ducky looks very injury prone so he owes us one.

i can't believe we didn't enquire about BJB as he's a quality player who is available. I think like a lot of these players they prefer to stay close on the M62 corridor if they can as they don't have to disrupt their social life then. Just another problem we suffer from down here which makes competing more difficult for us.
