With our club being effectively a rich mans toy, we the supporters have little or no voice with regards to the future direction of our club.
Mr Hughes is a law unto himself, I understand that, because he pays the piper so he calls the tune. However I think you will agree, under Mr Hughes ownership the club has been and is in decline. Alas the attitude from the club leads it to be isolated from us the supporters. The officials of the club are not particularly approachable and when cornered, not very forthcoming. If this situation is allowed to continue, I fear that Before too long we will not have a club. A club I hold very dear and have followed for many years. The only hope we have of having some influence with the club and to build a relationship, where the fans start to be considered and have some input. London Broncos Supporters Association was sent up to do this. I know that it has 200 or so members, we must have a core of fans greater than that number,so please sign up. It is free to join. There is some communication between the LBSA and The Club.nThe greater number of members that the LBSA have the greater the clout it has. The LBSA is more than a stick to beat David Hughes with. They organised the Heritage Day a couple of weeks ago, which we all enjoyed. Have other things planned. I urge all of you who are not members please join up. it costs nothing. http://www.lbsa.org.uk/ |
