Hendo has mentioned some of the reasons in a few of his post match interviews, though I hadn't been aware of the commuting aspect. The unfortunate thing for 2015 is its another new dawn on the pitch that has turned out more overcast than bright. Fortunately another last chance saloon has just opened up. If it truely brings the club into one place then maybe some longer term benefit can be derived. Who actually gets that benefit is another thing.
Lets hope the new signings are what is required rather than just having a big name. During this year to fill some of the gaps there have been some good signings for what we need. Thackray, Cunningham and Kear have been brought in and the younger lads have clearly made a difference while Barthau and Keyes appear to be developing a partnership. Lets hope the off field team Hendo is also putting together for the first team and the acadamies can make an impact.
For anyone who hasn't read it, Hendo has said that he is moving down with his family, which is a very positive sign of commitment.
Unfortunately the Broncos have had a year starting with the positive of this is now Joey's team and ending with the negative that this is Joey's team. This has happened across a number of seasons of late. Next year it will be Hendo's team and let's hope it stays that way across the season so that the excuse of someone else's team is not available.
For anyone who has seen the team this year it is not brain surgery as to what is required player wise: some big units so we are not beaten up upfront and someone to take on Hendo's on field leadership role so he can actually get on with his real job.
