Folks due to other fights I have at the moment we need someone to take on the job of moderator here, the forum needs someone who can broaden the usership and keep things (a certain Kiwi based thing mainly) in check.

Anyone interested just post below, any arguments and I'll warn you now I have no patience at all.

What is time commitment etc? I assume unpaid? What training/protocols are available?

Hi Brian, we'll try to help as much as we can. No training, although there's a mods' board where mods can discuss and seek opinions etc.

It's rarely tough, though you get your moments! On time, look in as often as you can comfortably.

Thats why despite being able to look in everyday I can't volounteer, I'd be too tempted to just boot peeps who annoy me, lmao!

We'll miss you BG, although I take it that, like Homer, you'll take to lurking out there and occasionally blinding us with the brilliance of a pithy observation. Haven't the patience for the job myself and possibly not the time with my political work for the Green Blob (we're coming to smother you in tofu and to take your cars away )

Given that that is redrightankle's second post, I am deeply suspicious of their identity - happily Kiwis aren't a protected species on this forum.
