Whisper it quietly but I understand that one of our most senior players may be off to pastures new next season. I'm sure both Toulouse and Toronto will be looking for top full time players for next season. Or it could be one of the Australians going home.

It would not surprise me if the French team are looking at Will Barthau to lead them in the Championship

The only surprise is that it isn't happening mid season the way our luck has played out in recent seasons

It's why we should be talking to Barthau and other key players about contract extensions? Though I doubt we will be able to compete, unless we get into Super League.

Well Parramatta maybe open to offers to release players as they need to reduce their cap.

And thats the issue the odds are stacked against a championship team getting into SL. Leeds, Hudds, HKR, Salford not forgetting Leigh, Bradford and one other

No way can you offer Super League contract level salary's when you don't know what your situation will be, wonder what Toronto will do when they get to this stage?

One player going by Monday who is retiring and thats them under the SC (Watmough)
