I watched some of it last night, from what I saw they were good value for the win. Had a bit of luck a few decisions went the way of York. However they took their chances, they were out on their feet in the end but hung on.
I am so pleased Jack Bussey does not play for us anymore. The man is a penalty machine who cannot control himself. He does his team no favours with his rough stuff. I am all for a bit of spirit in a player. He is just stupid.

Apparently he has turned into a nasty piece of work, a lot of the lads who have gone elsewhere, e.g. Half the cas team, all keep in touch with there old team mates at the club, even coming to games ( Denny Solomona) Bussey now blanks everyone. When they played at ours he dropped the "c" bomb every time he came past the london bench. Watching him play, he has certainly embraced the Rowley style, seems to have turned into a nasty piece of work.

We bottled the play-offs. Toronto made a promising start along that route, at York - although it doesn't really matter!

Can't agree that you bottled the play offs the first year. Through out the season Leigh had bullied there way through the league playing an ugly game, verging on thuggery at times, hey it got results in the league, but that backfired when facing a better quality opposition, and by the time rowley realised they could not bully the bigger teams it was too late.
So not bottling it, more not knowing yr opposition.
I have no doubt Toronto will still finish top, but if that is the advert for rugby league in n America i hope they come unstuck.

Just watched the Cougars game. Toronto are not having it all their own way. Keighley took the game to them and never gave up. They scored a penalty in the last seconds of the game to grab a draw. This with their loss at York shows they are not unbeatable.
Next season could be interesting, with Toronto facing stiffer opposition. We will see if their popularity at home will continue. Or will the support drop off, when they cease to have the easy wins their fans have got used to.

Only just seen the Keighley result. Really pleased to see that they are not having it all there own way, it' does the sport no good for a team to go through the whole season unbeaten.
I think you are right bosty, despite the thoughts of some they are not going to breeze the championship next year, I suspect they will take a similar path to Toulouse difficult to beat on there own ground but unable to sustain the momentum through the season.
That's unless the RFL play a blinder
