The rot truly set in under Stuart Cummings. He was an awful ref in his day, then an awful Director of Referees, and now a truly dispiriting commentator. And somehow the RFL followed his tenure with the appointment of Steve Ganson, who spent his life show pony-ing around the grounds.

This could be part of the problem, the good ref is the one you don't notice but Ganson doesn't seem likely to train those.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!

Stupid post that is not what the ref is on the pitch for. I have seen a ref make many, many many mistakes.

Under Cummings & now Ganson things are getting worse.

Would not want Kirkpatrick back.

By the way our try came because he played advantage from a late tackle!

So it would seem that after a number of high/late tackles, you could determine the Ref had no control of the game. Just saying.

To be fair, I think London deserved a point from that game at Huddersfield because of the effort put in over the 80 minutes. But I wouldn`t blame the ref for that action at full time, as both the ref and the in-goal judge were both right on top of the action. Also Huddersfield hooker Leeming swears he got the ball down when the ref said held-up.
That was a new ref to me, hadn`t seen him before, made the odd cock-up but no worse than some of the dross around.
Best of luck against Salford.
