"Three Good Years" has a background of Work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League in the 2006, 07 and 08 seasons. It is the sixth in a series of novels set in the fictional town of Ashurst which is set 'near' to Leigh, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan and is inspired by the old saying about being at work that "They could write a book about this place.
