Indeed. You dont make the kind of money he has by not knowing your onions. Thats why I am baffled about where the club finds itself

Not really.
Good sales people are often narcissists as are some bad ones pretending to be good. A trait of such people is that they like to be praised and take criticism badly and over the years it has become apparent that some people have manged to gain and retain employment at the club for which they were in no way qualified for by massaging Mr Hughes ego.
Mr Hughes is quoted in A PASTEL REVOLUTION as being in favour of the broncos and charlton being a sporting club and that this idea was shot down by the football side.....I can think of 2 employees who might have played on this when touting moves to football clubs.....as in
"You were right at Charlton Sir. This could be your chance to show everyone how right you were"
Just my opinion. I can't deliver proof, but as. Theory, it holds water.

David Hughes business was trading energy. There is massive demand for energy, it basically sells its self.
The key thing in that business is getting the best price that you can.
In addition his company did not have too many scruples as to whom it was selling too.

It would not take many guess's to know who you are talking about who is currently employed by the club.

Looking at the move to PL and the club as a whole, the sad truth is that yet another employee has taken David Hughes' pants down with unrealistic promises, and we all know what primate it is this time.

Excellent summary

Orangeman when fans of 25 years plus are written to by the office monkey and associates and told they are no longer welcome it does make me wonder for the future of the club. (holding the paperwork to prove this if necessary)

I haven’t seen any post match comments from the coaches. Anyone seen anything and if so what did they say?
