We are a family of three generations who attend games. We are all season ticket holders including my grandson.
I do think fifteen pounds is far to much to pay for junior admission to games. I also ask what do the club offer for kids. Nothing,
Buck and Dusty even seem to have joined the missing fans. Covid I suppose is the reason for that..
The truth is what fanbase we still have, is getting rather old and I include myself in that.

There was nothing positive to take out of todays game. Even the most hardened Broncos No1 fan would struggle to find anything worth talking up from today.

Unless something changes quickly it would seem the club has or will die.

Jarrod having fun in the second half i see as a postive, some of the london home grown talent is a positive.
Got to be honest first half was poor, second half was actually quite enjoyable, see that as pretty positive.

Re: Whithaven Home : Sun Jun 20, 2021 9:30 pm
we scored more than a point a min in the 2nd half, and I don't think Haven had more than a couple of sets in our 20 in the 2nd half.. Some of the tries in 2nd half really good as well, so lots of positives in 2nd 40

But that was pretty much it. But remembering what the atmosphere was like at Ealing in 2016-2019, in the super 8's and ofc the SL season, it was really disheartening seeing <300 fans there today. And even in 2nd half when we was scoring tries for fun it was so flat. I know we sat in different section today (east stand) from when we was Gold ST holders, but we did not see anybody we remembered from those years (and the people we sat near at all our time at ealing where generally the same folks, as most people retained the same seats each year).

Do feel for the players TBH, must be hard for them to perform with the lack of atmosphere

Having played behind closed doors, they should be used to the lack of atmosphere.

Did like jack explaining rules of the game to haven, taking a ball full on in the face is not a charge down! And that the ball played the man not the other way round. Have had that myself but not strewth not that close, navarette looked well groggy, even when he walked round second half he looked groggy.
Good to see the 8 point try decision, dont see it often, but we were lucky not to get a guy in the sin bin for running in.

As for atmosphere, haven fans were pretty vocal for a small group.

Club only has itself to blame. Pathetic marketing, an average champ side is not going to attract many fans at those prices.

Not sure how that equates to barring families

Good for you.
Kids under 16 should be FOC with a paying adult IMHO.
Attending sports events is a habit and like the Banks figured out i the late 70's, get 'em young and you'll keep them.

London Broncos total and utter disregard for Fans, Attracting fans and Fan engagement is not a new thing, but under this current management, it is reaping the deserved rewards.

I suspect that the crowd yesterday represented 10% or less than the average we achieved in our last season at the Stoop. Hughes reminds me of a bad gambler, stood at a Roulette Table and betting it all on the number 37 repeatedly not realising that the numbers only go to 36. The Name Change decision in 2012 resulted in lower crowds, the move away from the Stoop lower crowds and relegation, the move to Ealing, Lower Crowds.....so guess what? Let's move again.

He's a doddering old fool who deserves to have his money taken by the likes of Monkey Boy.......apparently there was no merchandise on sale yesterday?
