Just seen this. Not at all surprised, he is a Super league coach in a League 1 setup. He was always going to go.

What a complete balls up by the club. Really are clueless. Total shambles top to bottom, on and off the pitch. Just put us out of our misery please. You couldnt cock up this bad if you tried, truly amazing effort to reach this level

Danny Ward has done a fantastic job with the resources available to him. The team that won promotion and played in SL went way beyond the sum of its parts.

He was always going to move on to better things at some point and I hope that is what he got lined up.

If the club have released DW for any other reason it would only emphasise how bonkers things have got.
