A long tough journey for the Dons Jaybs, a wrong tough journey for Broncos and for me from North London I suspect!

Every venue has not been easy, the time at Charlton & Quine sea dons I made every game home & away. I was only telling a friend today, in my early 20's I was approached to join a Radio Station in Europe, and relied I can't I watch the Saints! being sent to the first Fulham game, I never went to Saints, except when Bronicos played there, but there are few os us, if Saints last erjebd can only attract 7,000?

Was just chatting with young Alex, he's so excited about going to Whitehaven this weekend, he can't wait, he will most likely travel up Saturday, as I've said before good on him! All he's problems he's experienced, and he's a qualified Union & League referee!

This afternoon we signed up with support to the Muslim community in South London, the first in rugby league, many Premiership Football clubs have signed up, we have to work hard in the local community, again last week players were volunteering with Dons Community Support, we have to work hard, we can do it, I believe.

Jaybs the club do appear to be doing some positive things but I confess I worry about recruitment strategy. If you dawdle you get nothing and in this particular sector London is a hurdle not a draw for quality staff.
I also fear the increased length of the journey next season will raise my son’ s resistance to coming so I hope the end product is better than what we saw on Sunday

I don't disagree! It's a long time since I've been as disappointed as Sunday night, not quire as bad as in my early teens, when West Ham lost I couldn't eat! lol

Perhaps the ground, yes! but look at Trailfinder, the artificial pitch has had its day lol

Whitehaven itself is quite nice, especially down at the harbour, if he is going up Saturday it is a good little town, better than Workington.

I cannot agree. jaybs. The whole place is a dump. Sure the ground is awful, but the town is derelict and the harbour which could be, nice is grim. Full of crappy boats.
The shadow of Derrick Bird hangs over the place. It is not nice.

Now if the place was on the south coast it would be different as money would pour in and it would come alive. Sadly it is not.

I do agree about Workington too. That is also, not that good.

Parts of Cumbria were actually in Lancashire prior to 1974. However, Whitehaven would have been in Cumberland, home of the sausage.

Lake District, Sausage & Mint Cake, the only worthwhile things from Cumbria. Oh & Rob Purdham of course.
