Tolouse tickets for £10 : Fri Jul 23, 2021 9:32 am
Just seen this offer from the club

I think this is a great idea if I am honest, yes we will get tonked by Tolouse, but right now RL is actually in the national press and on TV with the Aus / NZ crybabies, so if ever London had a chance to market a game now is the time...

All you Londoners, come see what all the fuss is about... London v the undefeated Tolouse, 10GBP, 5 for Kids roll up roll up roll up

Its also likely to be our last game in Ealing, I'll see if I still have the top from the first season we played there, and bring it to the game... £10 is a great deal, and I really hope we can try and get 500 to see the Broncos off.

Might also be the last game I see them play, as can't get to wimbledon, and they might not even be around next year

Hardly crybabies crashmon given that the 2 teams that played in the Challenge Cup Final last week have cancelled their games for this week due to covid. Hardly on top of covid protocols here are we?

Having said that £10 to see Toulouse is not to be sniffed at but sadly I shall not be there. If Broncos then go on to play the last few games at PL, the lunatics will well & truly have taken over the asylum.

It is no surprise that when pre season, a certain Monkey explained that season ticket prices at the club were too low. Therefore fans would have to pay more.
Not worked out well has it?
as Orangeman says we are in a race to the bottom.

I'm in a pedantic mood this evening Orange so it should be Reliant Robin. Many in NZ?

I'd love to know who thought that 400 season ticket holders paying an extra £50 a year each was worth the fall-out it was obviously going to incur? £20,000 was the potential gain.......I'd guess we've already lost that and more by non-attendance.

I can only pray that the imagined £20k was to cover Monkey's wages and that he's going without.......at what stage does the person or people who made such a grave error of judgement get to face the music and explain to the bloke writing the cheques to cover their asses?

Hiking prices by up to £100 (bronze tickets were £140), stating there will be no refunds and no clariry about where games would be played would backfire at any time. Doing it in a pandemic can only be described as bizarre

It was a daft move from the club and the outcome is no surprise.

You'd think.....but apparently the CEO (sic) and Commercial Manager (sic) are still stealing a wage, so I really do fear for the next chapter of the saga that is The Broncos......If we had 2 Bucks and 2 Dusty's next year they could be the 4 horsemen 8)

Surely that would be the 4 horses, but no doubt we could find war, famine, pestilence & death between the rest of us. Probably not Northernbloke or jaybs though. :DRUNK:
