Happy days. We could do with a Harry Genders like character involved with the club these days as we have no one with RL nous sadly.

Just do not feel it is 41 years, I even visited St Paul's for the morning service, before heading to the ground, never even saw so many families at Knowsley Road, everyone was so happy, the rules during the match were explained, superb setting and a great win!

No One can ever take that away!

The 1500 breakeven figure sounds quite bizarre. I do remember as a Fulham fan hearing at the time that the cost of maintaining the Cottage was disproportionately loaded on the rugby side. No idea if that was true but could see why Yorkshire's worst ever export would have done that.

Have been trying to persuade a couple of lapsed Broncos who started coming in the Brentford days ( probably for the Cowgirls) but as they watch on from the sidelines, they don't feel the vibe from Brentford or the Stoop can be recreated again. I think they may have a point.

Oh the cowgirls ....Cassie wasn't it?
Dusty being decked by a drunk Aussie at griffin Park, Wakefield fans rolling up in fancy dress, song #2 blaring out at try time....woo hoo ....
They've got a point.....the club will never get that back

The thing is that times have changed. Lovely as the Cowgirls were. I would say they would be quite controversial today.
What has to be done now is to be creative and find new things to attract and retain new fans.
Following Toronto's success with Beer festivals, they will be popping up left right and centre throughout the sport next season.
Finding the next new thing will not be easy but it can be done. You do need the right people and the finances to implement it though.
