I agree shocking signing and Roberts has not done much either, I cannot actually say so far that we have improved with our signings this season. Has Roberts done anything Colbon could not of done, really.

Truely awful game by 2 average sides tonight.



We can't do any sort of basics like simple catching, kicking, not giving pens away etc etc and it's getting beyond a joke.



Wire were almost as bad.

I stand to be corrected when I watch the re-run but I thought it was a blood and thunder game which lacked any real quality.



We never looked liked scoring for 65 minutes of the game and once again when when a side puts a bit of pressure on us the bad habits such as penalties and errors come to the fore.

Depressing isn't it. It's a confusing mixture of emotions after a game like that tonight

Agreed. Wire were frustrating at times with dropping a the ball although on the odd occasion there might have been a hand in there

I think the defensive effort in the first 8 minutes gave wire confidence and put Wigans heads down a bit. That, along with home advantage and the low penalty count mentioned sealed a tight game.



No need for Wigan fans to be dispondent, equally no need for Wire fans to be getting too exited.
