Still can't get my head around the signing to be honest. I get it was risk free not counting on the cap but it was obvious that he would struggle with other parts of the game than simply running with the ball. It's not like he has age on his side either to be a project signing.
I didn't see your game against Hudds but he was in no mans land for their first try and just not synced with the rest of the defence.
Remember Dwain Chambers signing for Castleford? That was an abject failure too.
It was a proper mixed bag. Some of the stuff he did was pretty impressive but some was stuff you'd see in u12's Rugby League.
It sounds like he won't be staying on, which has been put down to the salary cap but I get the feeling that may just be a kind way of them saying he's a bit behind the level they'd hoped for. Why would we need a Union winger for 4 months only, when there's no way that would be long enough for him to make an impact and surely they'd have known the cap situation already!
