HI all good result tonight i do not attend games as most of you know but i was told by a friend who attended tonight that around 1,000 people from the military where in the north stand tonight who got in for free and that the south stand was "sold out" and there where about 500 empty seats in a crowd of 14,400 my question is that the club will have to pay tax for the gate tonight end up making up making a LOSS

What on earth are you talking about i used to work as an accountant i am not an spammer i am someone who speaks the truth. THere are some clubs in SL and the Championship who do not declare there crowds

You do realise that they are alllowed (and in fact required) to declare the money raised on tickets sold by price?
Adullt, Child, Concession, Free.

So they only pay tax on the money brought in.
i.e. 1,000 x Free = £0, so £0 payable in Tax.

It's not a simple 14,400 x 25% Tax or whatever.

Stop the winding up, and try trying winding in your neck instead.

My take on it-
well done for giving tickets to connections to the armed forces it being forces day and all.

Mr Frisk you are not speaking the truth you dont pay tax on a non sale not at 20% anyway so stop moaning and congratulate the club on their generous offer.

Oh christ…I wouldn’t like you as an accountant. I’m pretty sure tax is on revenue and/or subsequent profit.

This is eaither a) a wind up, b) common anti-club/Lenners tripe, or c) an accountant who can’t count.
