Amazing performance by Cleary to drag them back in it. Broncos made at least 3 errors in the last 20 though to give them possession and position. The 2 drop drop outs were awful, one out on the full and one straight to a defender 15 yards out. Another knock on on half way line.

Not sure I understand the tactic of kicking short on the drop out- get it over their half bust a gut to defend high up and trust your defence.

Felt sorry for Mam who would on any other day have walked the MOM.

You hear commentators criticising teams if they dont take a short kick, the one for the first try was a shocker, unless you are behind with time running out for me its too much of a risk

Is it really, though? Teams seem to go for a short drop-out more often than not in the NRL these days. Coaches aren't fools.

It’s worked for them all year, why capewell didn’t dive on the ball when farnworth tapped it back I’ll never know.

I get it if you're chasing the game or it's part way through as it's a 50:50 chance you get it back. But with the oppo 4 points off a draw, they couldn't level with a drop out, so just trust your defence from 50 yards out for one set.

Brisbane hd the forwards to take them away from their own line on the next.

You're right and I don't see how anyone could deny that you are right.

It was a nonsensical, high risk play and it cost them.
