It was held at Anfield in 1991 Wigan beat Penrith 21-4

Honestly can't see Penrith coming over here unless we guarantee them a big chunk of change, if it's to go ahead I reckon we'll have to do what Saints did.

You have to think it was when Hanley left and Offiah was still at Widnes! Wigan had a brilliant side that year

Reports in Aus say they’re missing out on the pre season challenge to travel to Wigan for the WCC.

I think playing at home is the best thing for our SL season.

I'd be interested to know the financial arrangements for the WCC i.e. who pays the costs of the travel, where do the gate receipts go etc.

Should be a great night (hope it is night in saying that) if it is at Wigan. They’re a special side and it will be extremely tough but you never know.

Wigan Athletic play Cheltenham Town on the 24th Feb so you will have to go to Bolton or Leigh
