Only way it could've been better would be if he'd ducked under Welsby instead of Lomax, as an aside anybody know where the best fullback in the league was while all that was happening ?

Liam knows his way to the line.

It's such a cliche, but in his case it's absolutely true. That lad will always give 100% in his efforts to reach the whitewash, and he never knows when he's beaten.

So glad for him too, because he had that bad injury, which, as a strike-winger, could really have damaged his career.

If you watch it, he stops running & chasing back thinking the cover tackler would get there. If he hadn't have done that, he might have been in a position to get Marshall on the 2nd go.

Watching Welsby get bullied all night was a fabulous way to spend a Friday evening. If he wants to act the way he did at Magic then he will need to face what comes his way going forward. He’s a fantastic player and there’s every chance he gets the last laugh next time but for now he’s been given a valuable lesson.

Not watched the whole game back but

No mention of Batchelor leaving some on French after his 1st try, and umpteen replays didn't show it properly

Wilkin spots that Wigan are targeting Welsby, but almost making out like its out of the blue or out of order.
It was obvious they targeted him because
A/ he along with Lomax is key to what they do
B/ they were after some payback after his antics/theatrics from Magic

The Woolfe dark arts are inbred into them now, anyone standing up to them must be cheating , out of order, or refs are favouring us.
