I had some Cotton Traders ones for Gaelic football, fantastic for the first fortnight and worse than useless after that.

I use resin and I think its great but only if you use it very very liberally, too much and it works too well can affect passing as the ball sticks to your hand for a millisecond when trying to release it which can have a negative impact on the trajectory.

Another option that Wigan could have employed on Friday was to not stand so flat and give themselves a little more time on the ball especially from second phase, that was our main downfall and why we put the ball down against a very good defence on the night.
