Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
The way I see it is that the brigantes are attracting kids/dickheads who want to be a part of something and will do what they want whether "official members" are there or not.

Because some scrote has spray painted a toilet the Brigantes are attracting dickheads? At the end of the day it's up to us to ensure it doesn't happen again, and make sure everyone connected to the Brigantes realises that this is completely unacceptable. Although you'd have thought common sense would tell you that...
Because of the dickheads/kids who do this kind of thing other fans are less willing to join in because of the negative things they do like this, therefore a clique is being created. Its like "the brigantes" vs "other fans" at times.

I can assure you it is not a clique. It is one idiot who has done something stupid. They have used the group as a platform to do it.

Oh and btw I understand the effort that goes into flags, badges, scarfs, etc and support it. I just dont support tools that are being attracted putting scarfs over their faces on the terraces, etc thinking they are Italian football hooligans.
Brigantes attract these people and this separates them from the majority of fans who may just want a sing along, etc.

I don't think anyone thinks they are an Italian football hooligan. I wear a scarf to keep warm most of the time, that doesn't make me a hooligan.
The season has not even started yet, come up to S2 and have a chat with me and some of the lads, you will soon realise we are not trying to be hooligans.

I wear a scart too, I dont feel the need to cover half my face and act like a tw4t.
And I dont need to come to 's2' as I have known a 'member' for 20-odd years and have been to the last 2 events at the cricket club, etc.
