£9 is pretty much pennies, but how is any rise justified?
There's been no rise in VAT for nearly 2 years, inflation is the lowest it's been for 2 years. Added to that, we will most likely not be spending to the full salary cap next year, a number of young players are moving on, money from SKY is at an all time high and we are (presumably) getting a lot more money from sponsors - all this while the renting costs for the DW remain the same, the pre-match and half-time 'entertainment' at games either doesn't exist or is absolute toilet (PLEASE stop doing the Sumo suits thing) and the quality on the pitch around the league gets gradually worse.
I absolutely despise moaning about ticket prices, so this post is kinda ironic, but I would love to know where the £100k from the season ticket price increases is going.
