The half backs and backs can score tries from anywhere as was proved again tonight.
Lam's forward selection was again sub zero. Bullock made a real improvement when he came on.
Lam needs to sort his pack out to get the best out of his backs.
He says Burgess and Flower will be back next week so his selection next week will be interesting..

Re. the forwards I really hope Greenwood can find his first season form from somewhere because I think we're still lightweight in the 2nd row with Farrell and Isa.

Another awful display of cluelessness.

Forget the scoreline, the performance was terrible again. The attack is so boring, scrappy and predictable. The only player who looks to be able to do something other than pass the ball along the line from left to right is French. God help us if he gets an injury!

I feel sorry for those that turn up every week and pay to watch that. Watching Lams reaction at the end, you would of thought we had just served up a RL masterclass not 80 minutes of boring dire passing from side to side with a flurry of tries at the end when Toronto ran out of steam and lost their composure with a player off the field.

3 games in im already bored of the season.

What a crock of poop you come out with once again.

Don't feel sorry for me in actual fact i feel sorry for you.

A win is a win this time of year, we will be in and around when the pots are being handed out. Sadly you wont be watching as you will be bored. Hope we are boring winners every week as it feels miles better than losing and playing really well.

And lastly if you are bored then don’t watch it, we neither need you nor will we miss you. Plus if you don't watch it you wont be able to chat pony about it.

Quote from Graham Lowe - "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a tripple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union ......... but I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league!"

It looked like Zac went to fullback for the last 20 mins in the second half so French must have gone to centre.

Is this what its come to then. Go after the man and not the ball? Anybody that is close to happy with the first 3 performances so far is either smoking something far too strong or simply deluded.

I am now convinced that some of the posters on this forum are connected to the club in some way.

Other than French, there has not been a single element of our game to celebrate.

It’s about balance mate. I’ve certainly got nothing against you, I don’t even know you. However, I have never seen anything but negativity in any of your posts and it gets tiresome.
It’s February and we have 4 points from 6. We have shown glimpses of great rugby despite disruption to our spine. We have been ver solid in defence too. Is it perfect? Not by a long way but there is reason to be optimistic. You either don’t understand rugby league, you’re a wind up merchant or you just refuse to see it he positives.

Do us all a favour and switch your telly off and disable your WiFi. That way you won’t have to watch the boring rugby and you won’t bore the pants off the rest of us on here.

That was a solid win tonight. Built a platform in the first half and ramped it up in the last half hour. Still too many penalties but that was clear progress.
Hastings was sublime in parts of the 2nd half and we look better with Harry Smith in the side.
Job done, onwards and upwards.

+1 I'm bloody sick of him as well bloody armchair supporters

Re: Toronto aftermath : Thu Feb 13, 2020 11:05 pm
Harry Smith another positive game, needs looking after in defence but he will improve in that department. Do worry about have a left footed kicker on the right though.

French has to stay full back. Hardaker was poor in attack at fullback last year (in block plays) and french looks like he’s going to score every time he gets the ball.

Burgess just terrible again, Marshall is showing him every week. Manfredi on the right, Marshall on the left as soon as he’s fit.

Bullock went really well.

Manfredi was speaking in the fan zone before the game. If he comes through this weeks reserve game he’ll be up for selection next week.
