But we still need at least 1 quality centre (2 for me)

I really, really want us to keep French, but only if we can strengthen in the centre spots too.

I’m expecting French to be a Hull player, that interview on Sky after the game was telling and the strength of the rumour mill at the moment is too strong.

Great news on Byrne & Havard though, hopefully KPP stays next year too.

Josie on the other site has said he has told her he is not going to Hull. It's Wigan or the NRL. She is a very creditable source.

Josie is a very decent person and if she says French has told her something then he will have and I believe her.
His comments on the tv interview were very guarded as they would be for a players who's agent is currently negotiating a deal for him.
No doubt they will be discussing his salary and the wording of any release clause.
Pretty much a good interview by Bevan under the circumstances. He talked quite a bit without actually saying anything.
I think he will re-sign with Wigan. The precise details are none of our business but no doubt if there's a release clause in there we'll be told about it.
Looking at the signings this past year the club has got it pretty much right. Great first team coaching staff with Peet, Briers and O'Loughlin. then good signings such as Ellis, Cust etc. Bearing in mind where we were and where we are now with a trophy that is pretty good.

IF French re-signs i suspect it will be a 2 year deal with an NRL release clause

I'm sure she wouldn't lie about it, but that doesn't mean players wouldn't tell her what they think she wants to hear. And I had her remarks at the back of my mind when I watched the post-match interview with French.
