Not too sure on this one.

Obviously fantastic last season but a 4 year deal for someone who turns 29 this season?

He doesn’t have a lot of miles on the clock to be fair because he broke in to first team rugby quite late, so that should help. I also wonder if it’s a straight 4 years or a deal along the lines of 2 years guaranteed and 2 years in options. The Field deal was reported as 4 years also but in his Wigan TV interview it was described as being a 2+2 deal.

I’d be more comfortable with that.

If Douglas impresses this year, I wouldn’t want his path blocked for 4 years (can’t see Marshall going anywhere).

Miski’s brilliant but if Douglas say replaced him that would be a salary cap saving and quota spot saving.

That being said Douglas is probably 2/3 years away from a starting shirt number.

Re-signing last year's top try scorer was a bit of a no brainer really. Particularly one who is so dedicated to the club and a brilliant squad member. More great work by the club and good to see Miski here for the foreseeable.

SOL was, what, 38 when he hung up his boots? Don't see Abbas being 29 a hinderance at all if he looks after himself & recognises he's not superman.
Made up with this on the whole, especially with Jai's extension as well.
Quietly confident for this year (at the risk of a mahussive jinx).

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

Probably a 2+2.... 100% player, and that's something every team needs.
