Stupendous talent. Nobody who watched him play could not be impressed, however much everyone not Leeds hated the little bugger. I swear blind he ran between Lockers' legs more than several times. Horrid disease MND, what he & Sinfield (& I don't hesitate to say, it should be sir Kev for real by now) have done to raise funds for research is awe inspiring. Rest well wee man.
It’s a disgrace that Kevin Sinfield has not been properly recognised for what he has done for Rob and MND. He was never my favourite player but he is one terrific person.

RIP Rob. The world is a poorer place without you. But your memory and legacy will live on.

Even though we all knew it was inevitable at some point in the near future it was incredibly sad to discover the news that Rob had passed today. Thoughts are with family, friends and everyone connected with the Leeds club.
Rob may be now be at rest but his name and legacy will go on, both in MND research and within our great sport (future MOM awards at the Grand Final).
RIP Rob.

Inevitable but still a shock.
What a player, never mind his stature, its immense now.
Surely something special will be done on Saturday?

I get the feeling that 'Abide with me' will be extra tough for everyone to get through at Wembley on Saturday.

I believe that fans at Wembley will be asked to stand and clap when we reach the 7th minute of the game, a fitting tribute to a remarkable person.

It was good to see him beautifully remembered as the headline news he deserved to be today. A legend that transcended the game in the most poignant of ways. I genuinely shed a tear watching the news earlier. To see the light in his eyes still burning fiercely as his body wasted away around him was both truly dreadful and inspiring in equal measure. Both he and Kevin Sinfield should have been knighted while Rob was still with us.
RIP to a true warrior.

It shows the rugby community at its best. I am sure that the Wembley fans will remember Rob in the right way.
