I know that Wigan looked long and hard at McDonald last year and it was concerns around his off field behaviour that stopped them from completing any deal.

Ironic now that they need a replacement for a player with off field issues.

Yeah really ironic

I didn't hear anything about us looking at McDonald long and hard. I usually get a sniff of transfer dealings. The only one I missed was Cust but fair play if you know that.

You would have to assume that Wigan have terminated his contract knowing Leeds wanted him without having to pay him off and Leeds have picked up the tab. Surely we haven't ripped up his contract, paid him off and he walks into a new contract.

Didn't say you were. That's why I said fair play if you knew that because I didn't. I'm not ITK either, well maybe a bit but that because I know a few current players within the league, that's how I knew Tomkins had signed for Catalans, gelling had been released etc weeks before it came out. I rely on loose lips not someone going out of their way to give me a scoop it's part of the reason I laugh so much at the geezer on the other site with his 'scoops'.
