He was a cracking junior player and if he can stay fit he will play at international level. Wigan have been chasing him for some time! I would love to see him at Wigan next season but I can't see it happening.

Wigan are light years ahead of other SL clubs regarding sports science. In my opinion they are on a par with NRL clubs. Hence, if this is the problem, I can't see his positioning improving at Saints.

Seriously, is it illegal to talk to any contracted player about any subsequent contract? Can't see how that can be so.

Wheeler is defo worth a shot, I'd back the signing 100%.

Maybe he does need a change of environment and with Bitcon looking after him I reckon he would play a lot more, if he reached his potential he could be England material, add to that I also reckon Lee Smith would be a decent signing.

Just read - on the other Wigan board - that Wire have signed SBW.
My reaction was LOL
