I think he had a decent job at BNFL so decided to stay at Whitehaven. Maybe Leeds have offered him more than Wigan did / could afford.

He mainly played centre for us.

We seem to have plenty young quality forwards in our reserves and academy.
We are desperately short of experienced forwards in the first team. The money would be better spent there IMO.

The interesting thing is who they are supposed to be replacing him with in Craig Wing, it just shows the standard of player that is available even if there contracts are not expiring. Hope IFL is leaving no stone unturned to bring in the right calibre of player for us in 2010 never mind 2011.

I hadnt heard that! if players like Wing are available then we should sign some pretty good players
