Wire finish above us in the League next year, are you kidding?
Last night was told when Clarke is fit, Tony Smith will go with him and Higham at 9 with Monaghan going back to his best position of 7.
Cracker is that!!!!!!!!!
So how's this wonder team with the best coach in the World going to go on at HKR tomorrow night?

IMO if and when we don't strengthen where we need to strengthen Wire will finish above us next season. They're squad is great and they have an even better coach.

They certainly are moving in the right direction whilst we don't seem to be moving backwards but nor do we seem to be moving forwards - stalling is what I'd describe it as.

100% correct.

I think they will push the season tickets on the back of going forward with our young players. We will be at the start of another "It will take us at least three years..." if that is what we do. Don't get me wrong I want to see the young players who are ready get the opportunities but I have never believed we can be a success without a mix of our own home grown players and quality signings.

From Mike's site the rumour is Bailey has been offered a 1 year contract (from Crunchers favourite person CPW aka Charlie Seeling). I like Bailey but he isn't real quality.

If we re-sign Bailey then what opportunities will there be for the young back row forwards?

I am not optimistic for 2010 at all because if we do re-sign Bailey I think it means Noble will get at least another year as it wil be "his squad".

In other words its OK pushing the youth angle but the club has signed up all the players Noble selects who keep them out of the team.

did anything come of the press conference on Thursday. The usual Wigan rumour mill was in overdrive again with some posters believing Mcguire was going to be announced with the season ticket prices been due out. Not heard anything since. I.m assuming that its again no news on the coaching/signings saga.

Think that was a wind-up

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

The same as this year? The young lads have had plenty of game time in the second row this year.

What about Ratchford from Salford?

Very good young player who seems like a genuine stand off. Him and Sam would be brilliant in years to come. He's English and wouldn't cost the earth too

How about Sam Moa?

OOC at the KC stadium. He was only given a contract till the end of the season. He was fantastic last night. Sent Fielden straight on his ar$e and numerous other players too!

Give us a bit more beef up front for a year - wouldn't cost the world either!

Yes I thought he looked pretty good last night, however could he possibly be another liability in defense ala Feka.

Don't get me started on Ratchford, if there was one British player I could pick it would be Ratchford, they guy shows so much promise and plays like an old fashioned stand off, plus he would be a brilliant partner for Sam
