Matty. Please excuse me if I am wrong, but I thought that Mossop when he was cited for punching and entered an early guilty plea that this autamatically carried a minimum of a one match ban. I posted earlier today that in hindsight he may have been better to let his previous disciplinary record be taken into consideration and throw himself at the mercy of the commitee. There may have been a chance that he may have got off with sending off sufficent. My thoughts where based on the fact that Tuson threw several punches and got one match, whilst Mossop only threw one. If I am misunderstanding the situation I apolagise.
I'm more concerned about the fact he was charged in the first place for a B grade offence. So in essence throwing ONE punch is now an automatic charge subject to appeal it seems???

On 27 May 2012 he destroyed St Helens forward and cheap shot merchant Shaun Magennis with a single blow with his enormous fist and was subsequently rewarded with a week off. Mossop, also known as the 'Cumbrian Colossus', is now expected to fight both the Klitschko Brothers for the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBC and WBA Heavyweight titles.[5]
I am sorry but Hock is an idiot and head case who is costing this team! When he just focuses on his game he is a great asset. We had that game well and truly won, the Saints player was being petulant because the game had gone away. Hock should have just ignored the provocation and laughed in the players face. Hocks lack of discipline now means we are a weaker side going into two big games, as his actions caused the knock banning of other players. With his issues in the past, I would have hoped he would be more professional on the field. He doesn't have to prove what a man he is by getting into fights - all he needs to do is be the player he is capable of - that is the best way to respond. Now I fear the rest of SL will target his idiotic temper, to get him banned in other games, along with the penalties that go with it. Frankly Wigan should be tearing a strip off of him, and telling him to grow up. Also I think he owes it to younger kids who are watching the game, that there are better ways to react to poor sportsmanship. Sorry but I have lost any respect I had left over for the guy.
