I see your point and have thought it myself, does Wane have that little confidence though in our players that he basically has them playing catch and pass rugby, with the hope that the odd player makes a break, or a player drops off a tackle? To me that's how we seem to approach games, tackle well, go through the motions with the ball and hope we get lucky with the bounce of a ball or a missed tackle.

He may be lacking confidence in the younger lads he's had to put in yeah, but not with the senior players. Bateman for instance is a player that clearly doesn't stick to a rigid structure and plays more off the cuff and I certainly don't think Wane discourages him or anyone else from playing that way. He's just had his hand forced into having a conservative game plan. Could be wrong obviously but that's how it looks to me.

It certainly stuck out a mile last night when Bateman saw a bit of space in front of him and headed full pelt for the line. Next thing, we had scored under the posts.

More of this kind of thing, please! :)

Asothers have said, our 'stock' attack is so easy to defend against; I can see it coming a mile off, so I'm sure opposition coaches and defenders can too. We won't win pots by relying on a bit of good footwork from Bateman or Williams. That should be regarded as a bonus, not the main source of points.

Haha! You've bought a season ticket but don't go to games, and you think that will send a message to Lenigan? That's like going to Tesco for your weekly shopping, paying for it then leaving the trolley at the checkout.

My last game was Saints at home and that was enough for me.

As a current season ticket holder you've already paid for your ticket. You don't have to spend a fortune in the stadium, therefore if you don't attend you have wasted approx £20 anyway.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Bit of an open goal there with empty vessels but I'll pass.
I'm a current ST holder and a fan for nearly 50 years so even though I've decided to stop going this season I still care about the club I have supported since I was a kid so if I want to make a comment I will.
I've decided to cease going because it's the only way I think IL will listen is when attendances drop to levels where he must act. The sheer paucity of the skill and entertainment makes my decision a little easier.
I've no problem with other people having opposite opinions or being more positive than myself.

I don't think Lenagan is a muppet, when the time is right I'm sure he will act. Your personal crusade will make 0 difference.

It's not a crusade but a personal choice.
I feel less frustrated by not going so it makes a difference to me.
As I say a personal choice which others may disagree with but hey ho

But I won't have wasted my time.
If you buy a defective product and you can't take it back you can either carry on using it or discard it. I've chosen the latter.

I don't compare supporting Wigan to buying a "product". It's more emotive than that. If you buy defective goods, there is usually an alternative brand to purchase. There is no alternative to Wigan. I was born in this town and I will attend games home and away even if it bores me to tears. Call me a happy clapper or whatever, not arsed. I'm not ready to discard the club just because they aren't playing well.

We'll come good and the negative armchair supporters will conveniently disappear (again).

I can understand that. If I lived in Wigan I'm sure I'd go to every home game, however they were playing. Travelling to away games would be dependent on form, though, amongst other factors.
