With the transfer money from Joel and the undoubted cap space available and Lenaghans recent trip to Oz, I wonder the possibilites are of renewing interest in Matt Cooper. Apprentkl he was keen to come to Wigan when we showed interest a couple of seasons back. I dont know what his contract situation is but Lenaghan was in Oz for a reason and im hoping and praying its a centre a hooker.

I'd use the Money to sign Tom briscoe. He'll end up in the centre and will be top class.

I just get excited by Briscoe ( no sexual jokes please) hes solid enough but I just dont see him as anything special. I know many will disagree but its just my opinion. I really like Yeaman but he predominantly is a left centre otherwise he would be my choice. I really hope we dont try and make Charnley into a centre. He is exciting with ball in hand but his defensive reads arent the best and he will be really exposed at centre. Teams like Saints, Wire and Leeds would have a field day. I dont know what IL has up his sleeve but a right centre and a hooker has to be a priority unless we are keeping Tommy there, introducing Mellor into the halves whicj means that a centre is top priority.

any cap space freed up by Joels departure will have gone to Sam (£300k/year if you believe todays Daily Star)
