Bit of a left field idea, but what if the reason we are signing Flower is to cover for the back row as we are losing one to the centre spot?

Taking the NZ Warriors approach to centre play, ala Mannering.

PS: That would certainly shore up the right sided defence. Lockers is one of the best tacklers in super league.

He may make a decent centre, but you'd essentially be sacrificing an EXCELLENT loose forward. Given you've lost Hoffman, I don't advise that you can afford to take SO'L out of the pack.
