Funny and true.

If only flying out of the line to smash someone and completely miss, or acting hard at scrums was taken into the equation he’d be top of the table.

I just found the highlights and going off that performance he could be a masterstroke! It was like watching a young Jamie Lyon breaking at will and flicking passes both left and right. You do have to wonder why he's then been left to play as a back up winger though? and you can only conclude that it was a bit of a one off but going off that game alone there's certainly some potential there.

If Bibby and Clark are signed then dependent on the exits I'd still say we need a top class halfback to replace Williams, a top class prop to lead the pack, a forward capable of switching between prop and loose forward and a quality hooker. At least 5 players but more than likely 6 needed in my opinion.

The signing of Clark seems an obvious one, Bibby less so. Perhaps he's been signed as a back up if Gildart departs to the NRL end of 2020. Bibby does appear to have pace and ability.

We all know of Clubb's abilities and what he has to offer. I do wonder if he's been re-signed to alternate between the first team and reserves. The reserves is a new league and the club will want to ensure their pack isn't bullied and with Tony there they won't be.

I'm sure plenty more signings will be made with announcements some time off maybe. Some players don't want their departure made known until after the season's end and this wouldn't be the first time if that happened.

As long as he brings the man that sat him up for all those tries and assists with him I will be more than happy!

We need to sign at least 2 stars but these are decent signings I reckon.

Clubb I believe has signed a 2 year deal which I find quite incredible if I'm honest. He is very close to Waney but when SW left I assumed that it was the end of the line for Clubb. I can only assume that he must have taken a pay cut to secures 2 year deal to see out his career at Wigan.
If he is 5th or 6th choice I can probably just about accept that.

I would rather see one of the juniors promoted, Clubb has been a good servant and seems a great bloke who has battled through some bad injuries and put it on the line for us but he’s done now and if that’s true I dread to think what he will be like in 2 years time.

Clubb needs to shed some weight if he wants to continue playing at the top level IMO. He just isn’t mobile enough and looks too heavy. If he did that and we had him in a side alongside 3 good prop forwards he could still serve a purpose but as things stand we can’t carry his lack of work rate or go forward.

His knees have gone which has slowed him down to almost a standstill which presumably has also impacted his overall fitness
