Not necessarily. I've heard/read somewhere that the league maybe extending the Marquee rule so that teams can have 3 or maybe 4 marquee signings.

If that comes off then no need to sell Hurrell or Merrin.

Your source doesn't have oversight - anyone can read the League Express on a Sunday online. The forward in the Cas article is George Griffin from Salford.

Minikin is a centre and not a very good one at that, hence Cas letting him go.

Could indicate that none of those players will be at Wigan in 2020?

I was led to believe Budgie re-signing was well over the line, but apparently not...I guess the club found it more important to make sure they resigned Clubb and secured Clark & Bibby.

I am never one to worry but I am starting to feel like someone at the club has hit the panic button and it is not surprising that the remaining quality we have is starting to worry...even Dan Sarginson turned down a good renewal to look elsewhere

I’m fine with that so long as James Maloney signs for us. Mind you we will probably sign Jordan Abdul instead on 1/16th of the salary and say there’s no money left.

The club need to start realising that attendances are dropping at a rapid rate for very good reason. Pure incompetence.

Budgie practically said himself at recent Riversiders meeting that he’s extended his contract. I fully expect that to be the case.

Hope so,but I suspect Hastings won't be at wigan next season..based on nothing more than a gut feeling.
