Over the weekend I was chatting with an ex employee of the club who described Radlinski as one of the most obnoxious managers they'd ever dealt with, he wasn't the reason this person left, but didn't help the situation

not sure if the person involved had an axe to grind or not, but seems to be a pattern developing

Confirmed Watkins is leaving Leeds for a new challenge "in super League or abroad".

He has been a bit off pace in last 18 months but still a quality centre!!

Would anyone take him at Wigan?

Yes defo, it would be nice to have a decent centre on both sides of the pitch.

Watkins is apparently due a big wage increase for next year putting him in the marquee bracket so they’re getting rid, it’s a bit off for me as he turned down big money moves in the past to stay, although we could do with being more ruthless.
If they pay him off that will count against the cap won’t it? Can’t see anyone willing to take his wages on, he’s a shadow of the player he was so I doubt Watkins would be willing to walk away from big money. Maybe Toronto?

We are being linked to Gold Coast Titans Prop Max King.

Looks to have some real size over 6 feet tall and playing weight at a touch over 17 stone. Still a baby too at 22 years old.

Looks to be a devoted Christian and clean living lad which would be a nice change although as with most of our signings the downside is he has had 4 shoulder reconstructions already.

In relation to Watkins I personally wouldn’t be too keen. He is an expensive luxury type player. Not a great injury record and not consistent enough for me. Has a bit of a flat track bully about him. Great when his team are on top but missing in action in the trenches.

Seemed to kick on when Bennett initially got him in the England set up, but along with injuries he looks to be back as one of the lads with bags of athleticism but not much under the left side of his chest.

Announcement on Thursday of some kind, my money is on Ian Lenegan as new player coach to save more money and Eric Pollard signing to play prop
