I wouldn't be too keen on signing Marshall as I have said before about 30+ Aussies being signed but in this instance and the current climate I would be ok with it. It's a good point raised about Danny McGuire about him having to adapt his game as his legs slowed down etc. Not every player has the ability to change their style of play to suit their declining attributes but McGuire did it very well at KR and Marshall is doing it equally as well in the NRL. I suppose a good comparison is Roy Keane, box to box midfielder who became an absolute rock in the midfield without going near either box. Just sitting there in the middle.

Certainly backing the coach with their signings, I’m not convinced Falau will stay.

I might be in the minority but Marshall would be a quality signing for a couple of years. Whilst he has lost a bit of his step and acceleration, he is still a quality half back

Marshall would be incredible. Just the experience we need with Leuluai and Lockers coming to the end of their playing careers.

Rob Butler potentially from London to Warrington. Risk free signing. Looked very adequate in his first stab at SL.

I just don’t get the Marshall hype
Never really enjoyed watching him.
Can’t really say why other than I just think that he is overrated

You realise after the first 4 rounds of 2020 he was joint 2nd in Dally M rankings? The SL is such a poor standard, he would still be one of the top players here when he's 40.
