Thursday will show how connected or disconnected the club and fans are at present.

Clark and Bibby would be OK signings but not worth the build up. I worry this is the case and will show a real disconnect.

Hastings would be worth it as it’s what most of the fans are begging for. Seems unlikely but would at least show the club is aware of what the fans want.

Watkins would also be a “big” signing, but not one I’d be happy with if he was on any more than Sarge as has been mentioned above. Couldn’t believe how slow he was when he made that break against Cas.

Theres actually quite a lot riding on this.

There has to be something that's going to keep the fans coming to games because it certainly isn't the current set of players, marketing team or ticket prices.

If this is a damp squid of an announcement then it's only down hill I fear.

Things are not as simple as signing every decent player available in a salary capped sport, we have far bigger needs than centre and people suggesting he might come in on similar money to Sarginson are mad. Add the fact his poor form since returning from a bad injury means we should be giving this one a wide berth. (Different story 4 years ago).

I wish people would stop defending our signings and recruitment, it's abysmal. And reflects with our league position and play.
