My mate is works at the RFL. Just told me Hastings is a done deal with Tautai going the other way.
Lam doing one more year. He also said Watkins going to Hull. Burgess was offered a year by Wigan and turned down 3 year deal at Hull to stay at Wigan and fight for a longer contract after next season and desperate to win something at Wigan. Lockers & Tommy playing on for one more season, Sarginson going.

That would be the best case scenario although I'm not buying that Burgess was only offered a year by Wigan.

Hastings would be a good get although he certainly won't be the messiah some fans are hyping him as. Hopefully there are two or three more alongside him if he has actually signed.

Hope you are right re Hastings and TT which would hopefully also mean that more props are being lined up.

Unsure about both SOL & TL doing another year but I don't think Lam is the answer for the coaching role but would be more than happy for Lam to prove me wrong. He's done zippo so far in improving or even sustain the current team or an individual player. Not one player has improved personally yoy for me so I just don't see what he brings.
From what I've been told Lam isn't respected by the players so a little surprised if he's got the the gig.

Interesting that the club only offered Burgess a year, like many I thought the year was in his favour, so he'd be free in 2021 for a potential move to the NRL.
Losing Tautai and gaining Hastings in one swoop is fantastic, let's hope it's so.
Lam staying on for another year is disappointing, we look a shadow of what we were under his leadership.
Sarge going makes sense with Bibby arriving, however it was understood he was offered a contract from Wigan.

I don't think Lam deserves another run. It's a blessing in disguise that he was only offered a year. We look a shadow of what we were under Wane. I don't know what he could refer to, if asked why he should keep his job, we've gone backwards in all departments.

Brad Dwyer signed an extension at Leeds, not sure if he was a genuine link or some people on here wanted him because he was rumoured to be leaving Leeds.

Would someone at the RFL know this info?
Losing Tautai mid contract is good business but signing Clubb for 2 years actually leaves us in a worse position imo (salary dependant).
Hastings is a good signing and worthy replacement for Williams but he’s not going to be able to put the team on his shoulders and I think we will realise how good Williams was when he leaves.
I’m not sold on Lockers and Tommy staying, especially when they are likely top earners and Sarginson for Bibby is probably a backward step, if you look at what both have done so far in their careers.
Clark for Hamlin is like for like although I personally prefer Hamlin.
Imo if we don’t make a few more TOP signings on top of this then we will be in a worse position player wise than this season, next season and if Rads and his team don’t see that prop is our glaring weakness then they’re in the wrong game.
