You just have to accept that if you get a young assistant NRL coach theyre going back the first time a decent job comes up. Even if they don't do a good job over here they aways seem to end up in some sort of coaching positions (you see them in the coaches box on Sky eg Sandercock)
One of the problems with being the best in the second best league in the world is that the sharks are always circling. What better way to improve an under performing team than to head hunt some quality players. I imagine that a couple of Saints players must be on the Aussie radar. It would be nice for someone else to enjoy that privilege for a while.
"I have seen the reports saying I am going home next year, this is not true as I have one more year of my contract at Wigan and I will be fighting for my place".

I think the French > English translation is slightly off...
"Am I f*ck going home when Wigan are paying me 3x as much. I'll sit it out here for another year and go home then."
If Escare is on as substantial a salary as suggested then the Wigan RL will have to offer any prospective buying club that they would pay a proportion of Morgan's salary with the signing club paying the balance. Otherwise he will be on the books for another 16-17 months.
The guy has a contract, he has every right to see it out if hes on decent money, you cant really blame him. Its the club who are at fault for giving him such a big wedge
Do you blame him? Doubt he will get anywhere near 6 figures anywhere else, although spending 2 years not playing will surely affect the deal he gets when his contract is up and he leaves. Now that French is on the books he is surplus to requirements but I actually think he’s done pretty well for us when he’s played and don’t really understand the stick he’s getting, some on here are saying he has off the field issues but I haven’t heard about anything specific.
