Surely Smith will never get a game unless Widdop/Austin get injured. And where does that leave Patton?

I think Patton will be away from Wire this offseason. Could be a good pickup for someone in my opinion.

Looking increasing likely Rocky will be resigning for Trinity, I would think that means that they have not managed to agree a deal with Escare and he will be back with us next season unless someone else comes in for him.

I assume has has reduced his wage demands after no-one offered him what he was after?

I’d seriously consider a move for Matty Smith as back up unless we buy a hooker.

He could play a lot in the reserves and if Powell gets injured or is out of form then move Leuluai to 9 and bring in Smith.

Otherwise buy a hooker, Joey Lussick would be ok.

I wouldn’t bring smith back if he played for free. He was poor when he was here last time and now he’s even worse.

No point getting shut of Sammut if we then went for Smith or Patton because neither are any better.

I’m happy with what we have. A steady leader at six in Leuluai, the best halfback in the league at seven and the best up and coming junior halfback in the league in Harry Smith. We’ve also got back up after that from Sammut, Woods and Shorrocks but I guess at least one will go.
