Wigan Today reporting we’re set to sign Kai Pearce-Paul from London. Other than reading about him on here and the odd generous YouTube video I haven’t seen anything of him. Adds competition to the back row and could be the long term answer to the “right side” second row issue

I’d be happy with this from the limited bits I’ve seen of him. He’s a very big lad with cracking hands. Hope he can fulfil his potential.

We’d certainly have some young forwards with plenty of potential around that 18-20 years old mark with him to be added to the likes of Smithies, Havard and Harry Rushton.

Is Joe Shorrocks still with us? He always looks capable at u19s level.

Think so, he along with James McDonnell are two more who played for the England academy last year in that series win over the Aussies. It’s a pretty big batch of young representative forwards we have and you’d love to think at least a couple will go on to have top level careers.

I’m hearing Brad Walker may be coming our way.

Decent project signing, bags of potential and at times showed real quality but has lacked consistency.

Not a particularly strong source but still a solid enough rumour.
