Agreed. I'd much prefer to keep Davis over Marshall.

100%. Davies has a better all round game.
I only see Marshall getting into the team when we have injures.

Shame if Davies is off. I’d have Burgess and Manfredi as our starters, but as history has shown us; neither have the best track record with injuries.

I disagree i like Marshall not many faster than him and hes shows real passion and pride playing for Wigan unlike Burgess id have preferrd to keep Davies and get shut of Burgess

I’m with you on Marshall, I think he’s a better player than Davies tbh. I like Tom Davies efforts in taking the ball off his line but his rugby league skills are pretty limited. I get as nervous and probably more so watching him under a high ball compared to Marshall and he has a habit of drifting in off his wing in defence. He’s also prone to making the odd porridge of a chance in corner, snatching at passes.

In an ideal world I’d love to think we’ll have a fit and motivated Manfredi and Burgess at 2 and 5 this year. They both should’ve had far better careers to date then they have if it wasn’t for injury.

Marshall offers more. Better finisher, faster and his defence and taking of a high ball have improved massively.

Fully agree

There’s always been a bit of a Davies verses Marshall debate and I’ve watched both and always felt Marshall was the more natural rugby player. Tom Davies is a prime athlete, fit as a fiddle and will try his heart out but his natural skills aren’t at the level of Marshall’s or Joe Burgess and he’s not a freakish ball carrier/finisher like Manfredi.

In another time he could’ve been first choice here but it’s not to be.
