That would sort out the lack of size problems!

He would add some size but given he is 1yr in to a 4yr deal with GCT I’d consider it unlikely plus do we have the cap space for him? I reckon he’d command a decent enough salary which would mean we’d probably have to shift off a few more to accommodate

Completely agree it doesn’t look too feasible but the article serious about rugby league posted, stated that GCT would be open to paying part of his salary as Holbrook is looking to move players on. Very unlikely but if they pay some of his wage you never know?

That would make a deal look more attractive certainly and a signing such as his would complete our pack and relegate players such as Clubb and Navarette into back up players IMO.

Fair point! I was trying to show that we pretty much never make notable signings this late but as you say it got petty and life's too short. For me the real intrigue of the off season now lies in who we lose. I'm sure ideally they would get rid of Escare, Sammut and Navarette but they're all under contract, and I'm not sure what level of interest the latter two would generate.

I agree with that. Heard rumours of Sammut to Featherstone; but no more.
