If anyone is leaving it will be Navarrette, the fact he's been picked to play with the kids says it all to me he obviously doesn't feature in Lammys plans but you never know, one team who needs a prop are Hull KR as Mose Masoe ain't going to be playing anytime soon and a change of scenery may do Navarrette some good
Well at least he has been picked! Maybe Lam thinks that the young players could benefit from having an aggressive prop around? I’m not reading into it and I hope he remains at Wigan to cover any injuries to first choice forwards.

Navarette only plays well twice a season and that's when we play catalans
When talking about TV deals and what needs to be done to make the game more exciting, I really think they need to have a look at the red cards and bans they’re handing out if anyone dares throw a punch. Nobody condoned cheap shots but it’s a physical game and some of the sports most iconic moments have involved a couple of forwards going head to head. We’re not allowed those Dowling vs Tamati, Mason vs Peacock, Fielden vs McDermott moments anymore and I think that’s a shame. Not everyone will agree and the world is too PC and health and safety conscious now for it to change.
It wouldn't be so bad if the fights were send off sufficient but it's the 5-8 game bans that follows which is killing it.
We may have concluded signings for this year and the squad does seem an improvement on last year. Burgess and Hastings are two quality additions and the squad will benefit from their arrival. Signings for next year will be interesting and something to look forward to. Replacements for Lockers and Leuluai need to be quality, and then there are others who you'd imagine won't be with us in 2021. No doubt there'll be pretty substantial space on the salary cap and within the club's budget. We have a good squad for 2020 and finally we seem to be bringing in size to the pack. Burgess is a big man and Clark appears huge in those yellow shirt photos. Looking forward to the season now.

Where do you get 5-8 games from? I’ve just done a google search and all’s that’s come up is Ben Flowers punch which rightly resulted in a lengthy ban and the punch from the Chorley v Langworthy game in October which resulted in a lifetime ban for the player involved.
I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’d be interested to see where and who was banned for that length in time in the UK as I can’t recall a recent incident that resulted in that ban length?

In 2005 (still SL) Terry Newton was banned for 10 weeks walloping Lee Gilmour and his mate Sean Long.
A lot more incidents in the NRL over the years (James Graham biting, Hopoate)... Etc which received bigger bans for extreme incidents.
My point should have been its very very rare that someone can be involved in a fight and only receive a sending off sufficient' even if it is only a bit of handbags.

I’ll have that but in fairness he caused facial fractures to both of them and as much as I thought at the time Long deserved it, in reality it was nothing short of basic thuggery.
I’m all for a good old punch up, let’s be honest who doesn’t enjoy seeing it in a rugby game? But equally there has to be a punishment. I’m not one for believing that a red card is the answer and for me it should be a sin bin or words of warning and let them sort it out by smashing each other in the tackle but it can’t go unpunished.
no chance. most of sarries players will be able to earn far better money in other PL clubs than in RL, espy given the the reputational damage of a botched move and being shown up in the new code. its far easier to go the other way, when youve had a payday you could never have hoped for in RL and can come back to a decent spot in a SL outfit (and we dont need to look too far to find examples of that)
The saracens players will have to take reduced wages or move to a French team as the majority of premiership clubs have used up their salary cap allowance for next year and if they do go to France then they cant play for England, ridiculous as that sounds
