The England job would suit Wane down to the ground IMO. Perfect candidate for it and will certainly get the players motivated. I’m excited to see what he can do with the England team.

The man was born for that job. His understanding of the processes to drive high performance and set a culture are excellent. Not to mention, he can motivate people to run through brick walls for him. One off high pressure rugby is his speciality. Brilliant appointment if announced on Monday. Thrilled for the bloke.

On a slightly separate note - I highly recommend giving some of the podcast interviews Shaun Wane has done. Opens up on his childhood (which sounds horrifying) and his methods at Wigan. Some great stories and a fascinating insight.

I’m barely 40 minutes in at present but what a listen.
I was grew a little tired of his reign towards the end but this gives me a new respect for the man & the coach. I can see why grown men would run through walls for him.
